The Chicago Motor Cars Alpha 16 GT-R built by TopSpeed Motorsports competed at the Texas Invitational for its very first time. With owner of Chicago Motor Cars, Parin Shah, behind the wheel, this was their very first roll race competition - finishing with a spectacular 1st PLACE finish in the Quick 16 Class sponsored by Stacy Barnett.

Roll racing is not as cut and dry as drag racing. Knowing how to pace the other driver, time your launch and develop momentum at the turn of the green light while maintaining a 60-65mph start speed is no easy feat. Experienced drivers certainly have a huge advantage over newcomers. Nonetheless, Parin and the TopSpeed built Alpha 16 beat the odds taking down three formidable 1500whp vehicles for the win!

Chicago Motor Cars will certainly be back next year with an even more powerful competition Alpha GT-R to compete in the King of the Streets class.
