    The Porsche 993 Turbo is a special car in the history of the 911, as it marked the beginning of a new era for the 911 Turbo that every subsequent generation has followed. Although it retained an air-cooled flat-six, the engine received a twin-turbo setup and all-wheel-drive system both derived from the 959 supercar. Producing 400 hp, the 993 Turbo did away with the old Turbo?s widowmaker reputation and instead combined exceptional driver enjoyment with all-weather capabilities, making it the ultimate do-everything supercar.
